Deshawn joins the team after nearly four years of serving as an educator at some of Houston's inner city charter schools. During that time, he spent many weekends being a student of industry by attending open houses, networking with real estate investors and studying the market. Deshawn lives by the statement that "the biggest room in the world is the room for improvement".

As a former college athlete, Deshawn loves to stay active. When he is not working on his craft, he can be found playing basketball, taking his rescue pup Tex for a run, or cooking a nice meal with his new fiancé.
